I was just wondering if anyone knows the comaparrison between the two? I have a 3 starred Legendary great sword of the second age that does 148.2 DPS What damage/DPS would a first age do upgraded? What about with overpower?

A 2 hander FA without any crystals is 149.7 DPS.
A 2 hander FA with 3 crytals is 151.9 DPS.
Overpower won't change the DPS of a weapon, only the DPS of your skills.

Is that it, 3 crystals increase the DPS by only 1.5%?

For a first age, yes.
On a second age, the increase is from 137.9 to 148.2.
