It'll be closed and/or deleted... err, I mean "moved to a moderator-only forum"... by 12:30pm Turbine time. That's an hour and 8 minutes from now.

So it's official huh. I hope there will be a couple more beta weekends. Last time there were still some issues that I would like to see resolved before I drop money on GW2.

I've read your "story" on your site btw, it's pretty pathetic.

Still seems to be going...I +repped several posters in that thread, figured I might as well make the best use of it I could.

I've asked Celestrata several times to explain why GW2 and SWTOR threads are no longer allowed in the off topic forum, given that there has been no actual rule change there.  So far I've gotten no response.

Well, a lot of us plan on playing both games.  I know I'm not going to let Turbine's mismanagement interfere with my enjoyment of the LOTRO gameworld.

Surprising indeed... well, not really surprising, Rick's "justice" is, at best, unreliable and random. I guess someone pissed in his cheerios the day he nuked the other GW2 and SW:TOR threads.

Maybe the CMs are on vacation, or trying to figure out how to spin GW2 coming out a week before RoR as a good thing for LOTRO?

Or maybe they realized it just makes them look bad when they try to squelch discussion of a competing game.  Though that thread is quite civil, so it's probably safe as long as it remains so.

A "Good news! RoR will release two weeks earlier than announced, and will be available August 22, 2012!" would be entertaining... :)

That would be unfortunate, since it would be blocked by my previously-scheduled time in "The Secret World". Yes, I'm still playing LOTRO some, but it is third on my list of games that I'm playing:

In order of most time played to least:

1) The Secret World
2) Rift (mostly doing dailies to build cash for the guild)
3) LOTRO (started a new Hobbit Mini on Landroval)
4) Star Trek Online (if I'm bored)
5) Champions Online (if I'm suffering from Insomnia)

On August 25th, I expect the list will look like this:

1) Guild Wars 2
2) Rift (getting ready for expansion)
3) The Secret World
4) LOTRO
5) Star Trek Online
6) Champions Online

With this many active games to play, I might schedule one day a week for the "lesser games", leaving the weekends available for the top half of the list. For example:

Monday: The Secret World*
Tuesday: STO
Wednesday: CO
Thursday: LOTRO
Friday: Rift*
Sat-Sun: GW2*

(*) Switching up those games, with a different game getting the weekend slot each week.

This brings to mind two problems:

1) I have way too many games I'm playing
2) I think about the logistics of playing them all way too much
