If I didn't have Terraria and Spacechem already, I'd have bought them now this instant. Dirt cheap. :D

WHOOHOO, 2 weeks of checking Steam every hour, here I come!

Already had Portal 2, but I got the DLC at this sale as well. :D

Well, so far I bought the DLC, Legend of Grimrock, and the Deus Ex Collection (after checking in Youtube what that really was like, and that looked mighty interesting enough to play sometime for me).

That was only today. Tomorrow new dailies, new chances. Gosh.. it feels like Xmas now.

And that's why I'm sooooo going to make use of this sale. Anything that strikes my fancy and is priced down sufficiently will be examined by me for buying!

Made use of the Sanctum Flash Sale, and Trine 2 won the vote and I got that as well (Along with 1 in the Trine Franchise pack). Decided against buying Star Wars The Force Unleashed II at 75% off, because the whole Star Wars Collection pack is comparable to all individual games at 70% off and I'm likely to get that instead.

I just spent about £20 and got Portal 2, Half-life 1, Darksiders, Mafia II and Deus Ex. I knew I didn't want to pay £30 for RoR for another reason :P

And just now, another £5 for Starwars Force Unleashed 2.

Yeah I know.  I'd just have a bunch of games taunting me. :P  I'll probably end up buying something and have to juggle some installs.

My best buy so far? Two Worlds II. Convinced buddy to get it too and we've been playing multiplayer since. Screw our weekly LotRO sessions. This is way more fun. :P

Worst buy? From Dust. Not because the game sucked, but because I didn't see that it is from Ubisoft. Guess what? I can't play it thanks to Ubisoft's ridiculous DRM. :P

In Two Worlds II we actually are back at our usual duo. My character is very reminiscent of a Warden. I'm a good tank with a polearm! I do AoE whirling attacks pulling the enemy to me. My buddy's again reminiscent of a Runekeeper. He's an Air Mage, and can heal/buff us, and dish out some nifty damage.

So far I've bought:

Bioshock 2
Darksiders
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Half-life 1
Hitman 1, 2 and 3
Left 4 Dead 2
Mafia 2
Penumbra Collection
Portal 2
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2

All of these were under £5 each (including the collection packs). Spent around £40 now... waiting on a few others to drop below £5 before I buy them too. And Turbine wanted to try to sell me a basic, heroic or legendary quest pack for £30, £35 and £52 respectively. Who was that fool who said you can't buy a good game for less than RoR, again?

If you like Portal (2), go grab QUBE. In the same vein. Not with portals, but with shoving around all kinda of coloured cubes to the right spots.

I've easily spent over 100 euro on games now. I'm afraid I'll be spending some more so long there are good deals flying by on Steam. :P

Hm, my boyfriend and I didn't end up buying that as the reviews weren't good and I wasn't all that excited about the gameplay video I saw.  But now you're making me doubt...

Well, you shouldn't expect Skyrim levels. But if you enjoyed the Gothic series, or Risen or so, this comes close. Better than Risen anyway. And the multiplayer is well done as in that we actually can just play together, something we /sorely/ missed in Skyrim. We simply wanted a simple multiplayer for us both. TW2 offers way more than that and we're happy.

And while I was at it.. just grabbed the full Gothic+Arcania set (expires in 2.5 hours at time of typing) and the Monkey Island 1+2 remake. Wheeeeee!

Awesome, have added Fallout New Vegas as well.

I found this one of the poorest games I've ever bought. Shame I bought it on xbox.. Took me 4 hours to finish.

edit:
Damn you steam.... add Thief Gold Collection and Stronghold 3 Gold to that list :P

I wield the Banhammer.
Fear me, but only if you feel you deserve a ban.

Two words for you, Rhy. Sad; the other one begins with B. Thief good, though. Still got all the originals. Must load them again sometime...
Good players adapt, bad players whinge; which are you?

I find that, where Turbine is concerned, optimism is a mayfly that lasts two seconds in the face of the blowtorch of experience.

I haven't bought anything, either... Then again, I have too many MMOs to play right now, I can't add anymore games, since I'll never find the time to play them!
