I would restore copyright terms to the original 28 years. (US) I think a little competition would solve all our problems.

. In response to the question, I would try my hardest to get rid of Warner Bros. I would NOT release yearly expansions, unless we were absolutely ready for it. I would delay any and all projects until the majority of the lags and bugs are fixed. I would hire someone who plays PvMP (creepside and freepside) and has a knowledge of coding to work with Orion (and Jinjaah?) on LotRO PvMP. This stuff may sound as if I'm just copy pasting what many forum posters have been advocating for, but it isn't. This is all stuff I noticed myself. And yes, I have become a bit biased and untrusting when Turbine is the topic, so expect something negative if it is. Apparel Dummies: Destroyed. Fifty zillion links to the store everywhere: Lowered to five zillion. Also, seeing as how the majority of my time is spent PvPing, you should expect a large update to PvMP if I'm ever the manager. I was going to say, make each expansion better than the last, but they set a pretty high standard with MoM for their first expansion

Nothing, honestly at the time I think I probably criticised it for being to claustraphobic and maze-like but looking back now its definitely Turbines best expansion to date.

I just wish Turbine weren't so shy about landmass... Great River could have been twice the size on the same map thus leaving room for future random add-on quests plus giving us more of a sense of travelling around (vs. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN'T FIND THE ORCS? I CAN HEAR THEM CURSING BEHIND THAT WALL!!!")
As for forum administration.. Turbine, y u no add a "Rants" section where (manners considered) people can say all the nasty?

To be honest, I feel the maps could be sooooo much better.
They should've copied the MERP maps. They were detailed and just plain excellent. AND TO SCALE!
That way, LOTRO would've had even more landmass, the Shire wouldn't seem so compacted and it would just be plain awesome.

It did signal a shift in direction for Turbine. During SoA days content was (IMHO) more story driven and directed around the epic quest line, since MoM LOTROs content has always been about gear progression and grind over story\epic quest - MoM - Moria cluster, Mirkwood - Cluster and so on... where before each update would expand teh epic quest and story now each update just expands the grind. I don't even believe this is purely just the fault of F2P to be honest, the shift in focus was evident before then. I really believe SoA devs wanted to bring to us there vision of Middle Earth, thats whats been lost I think.

The Shire isn't compacted because they had to stick to the scale of the maps they made. Pretty much every zone feels compacted because it is. The ever present mountains cutting up half the map, the constant barriers in the form of treelines or buildings, the short distance between locations. All of it was designed so that Turbine could make zones quicker than if they had massive sprawling zones.

Lol um... I stole a line from someone here about Lord Ricky and his fiefdom of fanboys. I called Turbine liars, and at first I said they should be shot, but I changed it. I said Turbines customer service is a complete and utter joke. I asked them what part of "LIs level with you" wasn't an outright lie. And some other stuff .
