No Lore-master thread yet? Let's fix it.

The non-combat pets that don't do anything always seemed neglected to me, rarely if ever seen in Evernight at least. Here's a list of them from Lorebook:

• Hare: Complete Friend of the Wild quest series
• Turtle: Mathom House reputation vendor (Ally status)
• Sparrow: Elves of Rivendell reputation vendor (Kindred status)
• Cat: loot drop
• Dog: loot drop
• Fox: loot drop
• Snake: loot drop
• Squirrel: loot drop
• Frog: loot drop

So a question, do you have these pets and how/where (aside Store) do you get them?

I think I got most of my non-rep pets as drops in the good old Rift.

The Rift seemed to drop most of the interesting goodies like mentor scrolls and non-combat pets. Haven't really seen them drop anywhere else

Mentor scrolls you say.. hmm! My minstrel IS on a long extended break but... now if only I could get a group to Rift. and time to play minstrel too.

Some pet scrolls have in fact dropped for me from the cargul guarding the gates of Carn Dum. I think I even got a mentor scroll of him as well. Shouldn't be a problem to farm him a while with a max level char.

My Loremaster has them all, but usually only summons them when she's working on the farm.

Being a Hunter, all my "pets" are stuffed and reside in my house! -)

I can afirm this. I got my pets from there, aswell as some mentoring scrolls. With a level 65 character it's pretty easy to take him down and loot him.

I think all of my LM's little friends dropped from the AH, but I got most of them before Moria opened when the bosses that could drop them were still being run regularly.

In a more practical vein, I'm sure I was told that the Goblin King (In Goblin town) could drop one. Never got to try it as I thought that I had them all before I found out.
