417 posts here and you expect this one to be deleted? I've never seen any political opinion deleted here, ever.

It's cause arguing with a Democrat is like arguing with a woman: Whatever you say is wrong (even when you're right), and they'll never let you forget it if you stick your foot in your mouth.

Donald Trump has a court case starting in December for alleged rape of a 13 year old.  Add to this all the women that have accused him of sexual assault, his comments about grabbing women by the pussy and them just letting you because you are famous.

This is on top of accusations of attempted rape of an ex business partner and rape of his ex wife.

Now these might all be lies, or some of them lies, but they is no way I could vote for a man that say the things he does about women.

That's one of the problems in the US today:

If a man is accused of rape, he's guilty before being proven innocent - which is sexism and misandry at their finest.

That said, I want to make clear that I'm not being dismissive of the claims - as I don't know what evidence there is.  I am being skeptical of them given the Hillary DNC emails and all the stuff she did to Sanders.  For all we know, this is a purely political play perpetrated by the Democrats.

The same can be said of Clinton, who defended the rapist of a young girl, even though she KNEW he'd done it (she was caught laughing about what she'd done). Or who covered up her husband's own sexual assaults by threatening and dismissing the women who spoke out about it. Or who accepts huge donations from places like Saudi Arabia, where women are a second class citizen.

Neither are allies to women. As has been said here, Trump is an incompetent, bumbling pervert, but Clinton is on the elite level of corruption and deceit. I just don't get how either of them got to where they are (or how Clinton beat Sanders), though I get why the media is backing their puppet Clinton so much.

Only two options given, when there's 3 other viable candidates? Nah, I'm not joining this 2 party nonsense the media keeps pushing on everyone. They act like it's a choice between Civil War or WW3, and then ignore people like Stein.

I can only hope Trump wins, since he's the lesser of two evils. Lord knows the population won't all throw aside the system and make the right choice otherwise.

Jill Stein may end up with a decent amount of the popular vote (more than the 2-3% they are currently polling her for anyway.)  but i don't think she will get above 10%.  though if Bernie supporters actually had a spine, it could be upwards of 15% easily, but Bernie himself seems to lack a spine, so why would his support base be any different?  though i have seen evidence he was bound to some internal DNC agreements prior to them colluding against him.

Jill Stein could be a surprise in the overall vote, but unless she breaks 15% of the popular vote, polls like the one in my OP will never include a 3rd party, if Americans themselves won't consider the option.

She is a great debater as well & would have been interesting to see that perspective represented more.

all that said, given leeway beyond some of her decent rebuttals to the 2 primary candidates...  i will never be comfortable with a socialist, even prefaced by "Democratic."

RE: the case of the 13 year old...  it has already been dropped.  there is no more case.  smells of hoax.

he did have some epic fights with Ivana though & all we have there is he said, she said.  Ivana is VERY litigious as well, had she any bruises, or other evidence of physical abuse (rather than just verbal) i am fairly certain he would be up on rape charges.  though all we have is a tell all from her in book form.

and as far as grabbing her by the pussy...  fairly sure the women wasn't unconscious & or drugged & had agency.  there is such a thing as non verbal consent & well Donald (true to form) was braggadocios about the incident, it doesn't come off as sexual assault to me.

She was appointed as a Public Defender, she had to do her job you cant hold that against her.  The laughing was about the use of lie detectors as she knew they were shite.

And if you dig into her legal career...

The good public defenders stand out... she created scandals (like Whitewater).

Scandals follow the incompetent.

A job is no excuse for immorality. She knew he was a rapist. She knew a child's life had been turned upside down by scum. But she did all she could to make sure he escaped punishment. Too many people throughout history are excused as "just doing their job" but, in this case, she certainly had other options.

Edit: sorry, I re-read what I'd posted and it does look like I'm suggesting the guy didn't do time. He did 4 years suspended sentence and 12 months in prison (including the 2 months he did during the trial). And that was a plea deal, so everyone involved was aware he'd committed the crime. Which is why I say he escaped punishment.

Polls close in a couple hours...

I am going against all the polls / media / establishment and going with my "Brexit lesson" so I predict 53% Trump in popular vote and 320 electoral college votes.

I feel very qualified saying that email is never safe and should never be used to send anything confidential (email defined as currently implemented with SMTP, MX records, IMAP etc). Arguing with me about this isn't going to impress.

As for the other matter, Libya was bombed after war in the country had already broken out.

Iraq was ground invaded for WMDs that were never found.

ISIS would arguably even stronger in North Africa if the West hadn't made an attempt to get initial Libya revolution over with quicker.  The ISIS situation there is not good by any standard, however it is a lot better than in Syria and Iraq, or parts of sub-saharan Africa for that matter. I also find it very likely that if the West had let Libya go the way that Syria went then Egypt would have ISIS ground forces running around the same they do in the Levant.  If ISIS has that kind of presence in Libya, Egypt, Syria and Irak then Jordan would be next and Israel would be in need of defending. I don't find the bombing of Libya a bad idea or a failed project at all.

And how many US soldiers died in Iraq and in Libya, respectively?

And the legacy of the Middle-east is a destabilized Turkey and Egypt thanks to all of the meddling that Obama did with attempting to enforce democracy in an area that's better ran by tyrants.

Yeah, going into Iraq was a mistake, and Afganistan is a mess of our own making some 30 years in the making at this point (probably even longer than that).

But Libya NEVER would have been an issue if we hadn't have been screwing around in an area that we need to leave alone.

And ISIS is part of the legacy of Obama because not only did they get great intel from Clinton's server, but Obama never dealt seriously with the issue and punted it to his successor - because Obama's a spineless pussy masquerading as a leader.

While it's only 16% reporting in, Trump's got the lead with 50% of the vote thus far, and 129-97 with the electoral college.

If he can hold the lead he's had all night long, then Hillary's gonna be living Orange is the new Black.

Once California's numbers come in, it will swing the popular vote pretty hard.

It won't matter if Trump gets all the swing states and pushes himself to 270 before the West Coast reports in.

Going by Google, Trump's got all of them except for Pennsylvania and New Hampshire.  Nevada hasn't reported in.  New Hampshire's close enough that Trump may get that one too.

And Trump's still up by ~1.5M with 19% reporting in.

This one's going to be down to the wire, and the losing candidate is going to throw a lawsuit over it.

AKA Justice.

Trump's expected to be near 300 votes by the time this is all said and done.

Finally we can fix the screwups of the last 8 years and get the economy back on track.

I'm actually glad. Since he doesn't know anything about politics, he doesn't know to hate Russia for no real reason, and to put UK on the back-burner for Brexit. In terms of foreign policy, he might actually end up fixing things unintentionally.

Domestic policy will be another matter. I'm already seeing people retweet that they're terrified for their lives because they're black, Mexican, an immigrant, Muslim, a woman, gay, trans, or a leftist. Hard to try to rule a nation when half of your people have this bizarre belief you're actually competently evil.

When you have a voting base that has been manipulated by media and democrats using fear, what do you expect?

I'm glad that the country gave the celebrities, democrats, and media the giant "FUCK YOU!" they all deserve for trying to tell us all how to think.

And (hopefully) we can finally move past this idiotic notion of political correctness - which is really just a form of censorship.
