Now I know how the elves feel. All the magic is leaving Middle Earth.
I'm right 97% of the time. Who cares about the other 4%?

Give me an LM as a sidekick (more power, please...) and I'm good to go.

I do prefer the Warden, if only because the RK is about as interesting as the Hunter, with the disadvantage of being a lorebreaker too... Both WDN & RK need a good hard wallop with the nerfbat (as opposed to certain WDNs & RKs who just need good hard wallops of different descriptions!
I find that, where Turbine is concerned, optimism is a mayfly that lasts two seconds in the face of the blowtorch of experience.

In the SoA days, Loremasters could solo Nemesis shard droppers, where no other class could do that. Hunters at that time could, occasionally, take on elites, but were mostly stuck on signatures. The Warden just happens to be very good at negating damage by out-healing it, while its avoidances gives it an edge over the minstrel in that area. Heavier armour classes have always had an easier time when it came to survivability.

As to elites, the only class of my original 5 (didn't have CPT & BRG originally, in SoA days) that I had trouble soloing elites on was the HNT. All the other 4 were reasonably straightforward. I don't doubt BRG always has been too. I'm not the world's most expert CPT, so I wouldn't care to comment on was / is.

Just in case you thought it was, I would just like to say "IT WASN'T ME!"

In other words: I've never felt the statement "easy to learn, hard to master" as true as with the warden class - and I've yet to actually master it. ^^

Now I loose agro all the time in fellowship or raids! Nothing changed on my gear or traits. Ok, don't tell me that I suck, I already know that part ;-) Any ideas??

Can't say I've noticed a problem with threat myself. I did notice a massive boost on my power management, but I'm sure that's also due to the new gloves that the epic book gave me. The power return on those is awesome, especially with multiple enemies on you.

Is that part of the epic quests or do you have to do a raid or whatever to get those gloves?

As for the overall Warden/RK discussion here I think the aspect of them being OP really lies more in the hands of the player as I think these 2 classes have the most variation with player skill. Meaning that the difference between a bad player and a good player with a Warden/RK is much more noticeable then other classes. I'm not saying it doesn't make a difference, but not nearly as obvious with the other classes.
Also over on Silverlode:
- Anawyne - 75 Warden
- Iothryth - 65 Minstrel
- Iothelion - 67 Captain
- Carawaru - 50-something Champion
