I had heard the various laments, in-game and out-of-game, that hunters would no longer be able to DPS. However, I'm not seeing a discernable difference. Granted, I haven't tried to measure damage against a Rune-keeper or Champion, but, then again, I'm generally not the type to try to compete for DPS against those classes (mainly because too much aggro in a fellowship tends to lead to more monsters interrupting my shots).
As far as speed goes, I don't notice any real difference in induction speed. For a while, I thought that my Find the Path speed had gone up with RoI, but asking around confirmed that to be wishful thinking on my part.
Power usage continues to be at a low, even with the removal of the ICPR set bonus that the Trapper trait set used to have (Looks like they gave a reduced power cost under the Heightened Senses trait instead.).
The focus-generating ability of the Precision stance is nice; my Trapper likes being able to run with a constant state of focus (They'll probably nerf it.
Hunter's Art is interesting. I believe that those hunters in raids and instance, who have need of a bit more finesse, will elect to use this skill in Precision stance, while switching to Endurance stance to save power using the skill.
Split Shot is handy as an extra multi-target attack, but the pause just before the shot just bugs me. It reminds me of the wait for Swift Shot to induct back in the beginnings of LOTRO (I'm sure several of you remember that.)
Overall, where one thing got taken, another thing took its place. So, I'll keep aiming.
