Sapience is just a symptom, an effect rather than a cause. This does not an excuse for his behaviour, but if not him there would be other tool enforcing Turbine policy. I will be too full of myself, but I will do it anyway. Those of you that are angry or / and disappointed with Lotro / Turbine answer yourself few questtions. Ask yourself what is the real reason why you're angry with Lotro? When you started to became disillusioned and jaded with it? When it started to give irritation, anxiety and negative feelings alongside good ones and enjoyment? Answer yourself - should video game make me like that? Then ask yourself what you need to do to stop being angry? It is not an accident that you're getting so emotional. Lil' Ricky or Celestrata are just something you concentrate and vent you anger on - and that's not an accident. They are set up there for (also) that purpose. They are not victims as well, they are getting money for it, but crossing line too much does not help you anger (other than very short term) and reflect badly on you as a person.

Cant very well be neutral ground when a few take a poke back, somewhat mildy i might add( i could have said a whole lot worse, believe me). Guess the muzzle is trying to be applied here too it would seem. Too bad. isnt like anything we say here will have any effect, no more than on Turbines own forums. I used to have a small cartoon clipping stapled to a corkboard in my office years ago, peanuts with linus and charlie brown. the caption read: "Working for this place is like pissing your pants in a dark suit. You get a warm feeling all over but nobody notices". Kinda how i felt about this place, nothing we say here has any effect on turbine whatsoever. I have always treated this place like kind of a place to vent the obvious. Seems the same thing is trying to happen here, one person says something, anything, another responds adversly, a few more smell blood in the water, the dinner bell gets rung, and a few more hop onboard to chastize and attempt to slap the muzzle on. Guess what they say is true, no matter how much things change, the more they remain the same. I guess in words i am sure someone else has said somewhere in time, "well fuck it then".

There was quite an important user visible change. We could play for a day or two without the shop lurking everywhere and laugh at the splash screen announcing it's unavailability. It felt wonderful.
