Doro
Of course they did. There's only one solution, of course - make new threads! Because now the old ones will have been deleted, they're not duplicates any more! Technically, they'd delete that new thread saying it's a repost of a deleted thread, which is against the rules. And here I was thinking that America was the land of the free. Such an empty title.

And here I was thinking that America was the land of the free. Such an empty title. Regretfully, the people of the U.S. have lost sight of what their freedom truly is (and at what price it was purchased) to such a degree that many no longer assert it. In gamer terms, they believe the status quo is WAI.

Forbidden reopening deleted/moved-away thread doesn't make sense since you can't know what has been there.
Toe
That actually works since you are only forbidden to reopen closed threads. Forbidden reopening deleted/moved-away thread doesn't make sense since you can't know what has been there. But what if they close it before they delete it? Then you are in violation of 'the rules' and need to be infracted. That doesn't make any sense at all since you would have no way of knowing that the closed thread ever existed, but since when has common sense ever been a factor in their forum moderation practices? Word must have went out to the fanbois because they are starting to get more active now, saying that the crystals make the expansion worthwhile even though they just replace functionality we used to have, for the price of 995TP. shann81
I'm watching official forum very closely. And I registered several thread removals.. Usualy it happpens if you are discussing refunds of buying RoR. Many players are upset that RoR doesn't contain Instance cluster. RoR is just expensive questpack.. Turbine doesn't want to hear about refund but there are ways.. contacting some bureau.. BBB etc. See this "closed" thread.. http://forums.lotro.com/showthread.php?463726-Did-anyone-request-and-obtain-a-refund-for-the-pre-purchase
Stavro Mueller
Yay, my first infractions! My comment: "The issue is not the time, it's the price. From June 5 until June 7, the FAQ clearly stated that the instance cluster would be included in the purchase price. On June 7, they told us that the FAQ was incorrect, that the instance cluster will NOT be included in the purchase price. This is not just standard gamer "but the players over at so-and-so MMO get this" whining, this is a textbook example of bait-and-switch." Sapience: "Trolling/Provoking - Significant Future attempts to post partial truths in an effort to inflame the community may result in the permanent revocation of your community privileges." My comment: "From June 5 until June 7, the FAQ clearly stated that the instance cluster would be included in the purchase price. On June 7, they told us that the FAQ was incorrect, that the instance cluster will NOT be included in the purchase price. The issue is not that the instance cluster is late, the issue is that Turbine is making people pay twice for it." Sapience: "Trolling/Provoking - Significant Again, you can post it as often as you wish, but factually you are in error." Apparently, once something is removed from a webpage, that means it never existed at all.

Doro
Can someone do me a favour? Since Colin (best typo I ever made just then, 'Colon') still has me on moderator review, so effectively banned, I can't comment on anything at all. I just need someone to post this for me in http://forums.lotro.com/showthread.php?461129-Buff-Champ-Tanking _______ *POSTED FOR DOROTHIR SINCE HE CAN'T POST HIMSELF* Actually, no it wouldn't. Giving champs better morale and crit defence DOES NOT make them a better tank. It helps our survivability but it does not give us the aggro generation of a guard. A guard is still better because they have better avoidances, too. I doubt either of you have ever made a full DPS gear set like a champ has to for tanking, so I'd suggest you try that before commenting on the DPS of a guard. So to make the comparisons easy: Champ: - Better DPS in DPS mode. - Better power regen in DPS mode. Guard: - Better aggro in tank mode. - Better avoidances in tank mode. See how if you don't include my suggestion, there would be 4 bonuses of a guard over a champ instead of them being even?

In that case, produce your evidence when responding to Celestrata. She's calling you a liar and using that as an excuse to hand you infractions, when she's the one who is not telling the truth, or at least not all of it. She should be confronted. While you're at it you can ask her why all the refund threads have been deleted/invisible-d/whatever the word is in Turbinespeak.

Stavro Mueller
I managed to find a google cache of the incorrect FAQ, taken on June 7: http://webcache.goog...n&ct=clnk&gl=us Screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/UG1TI.png Even more interesting than the question is this little note on the bottom. "Last Modified Since: 6/5/2012". Proof that the FAQ was incorrect on the first day of the pre-purchase, despite Sapience's claims to the contrary. nosam9
I have been posting a lot to try to get the truth out there. I think we are winning, and they cannot delete fast enough. I don't want to say my forum name, but it has a lot of 30-day money back guarantees in it, lol. Amazing that it would be Lohi. Hours of posts might show this not to be true though. Classic Turbine fan there.
Thrabath
I doubt if Lohi is Ricky, since he is asking for clarification if the instances will be free to VIPs, which I'm really starting to doubt, since they haven't said anything about it. Doro
I don't think Lohi is Ricky, either. He isn't smart enough to lead two accounts and not make the glaring mistake of typing the wrong thing on the wrong account.
