I knew it wouldn't take long. I often get annoyed by the term 'cyber-bulling'. Like when that idiot (I can't remember her name) said she suffered PTSD from cyber-bulling... and no you can't say it's not the same as what soldiers suffer because it is!!1! It's just a retarded concept. As a black colleague once said about it 'How can you be bullied on a computer? Nigga, just walk away from the screen!'

But this story made me doubt the world's sanity (well, what's left of it). Monica Lewinsky, someone I don't really know or care about because it all happened when I was about 7 and busy rolling down hills to make myself dizzy, made a speech at that Ted Talk shit. It's like a bastion of SJW topics to stroke themselves about. And it's about her own humiliation at having an affair with a married man who happened to be the President of the US (like that had nothing to do with it, right?). True to SJW form, she paints herself the victim of the first case of cyber-bullying before the word existed, like a suffering hipster.

And that was funny enough but then I got to the part where they give bullet points for the idiots to explain what's being said. One of the points explained what cyber-bullying can include: 'Deleting the victim's name or ignoring their messages on groups or social networks'

Oh no, you didn't misread that. It's literally bullying to delete messages or ignore a person you don't like. Better not ban someone from a forum you own because their tears over it are what matters. They're a victim if this happens and you're a vile bully! You have to accept everyone or you're just mean. But the best part was what came next. A suggestion of how to combat cyber-bullying: 'Know how to block or report people'

I am not making this up. They literally go from saying people deleting messages or ignoring people is bullying but blocking or reporting people is a way to defend yourself against cyber-bullying... it's the exact same shit! In what world does this sort of illogical shit pass by unnoticed by the writer?

Woman doesn't get the analogy, takes offense (which is her choice), and gets a guy fired? Then blames him for mentioning it, and also says he's responsible for her own firing?

Maybe, just maybe, people should be allowed to communicate amongst themselves in the manner they wish, and if you don't like what you are clearly eavesdropping on, ignore it since you aren't part of the conversation.

They may have been inappropriate comments, but don't tell me they were conspiring to rape or kill anyone. That woman had serious mental baggage of her own that is her responsibility and on one elses, could make penis jokes of her own, and then complain? She's full of shit, and while she may not have deserved to lose her own job anymore than those two gentlemen did, she pushed that rock off the cliff and wasn't concerned at all about where it went.

This particular rage comes with a nice little video!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nAfWfF4TjM

Long story short, they're trying to convince people that owning guns is a bad idea. And shit there are so many levels that this annoys me on that I'm going to have to take them one at a time.

First, they're implying the history of a gun makes it more dangerous than others. Why the fuck should it matter if some toddler shot their baby sibling? The gun doesn't remember that. The new owner isn't going to get possessed by some murderous need to kill babies because of it. I know many USians are pretty superstitious but fuck sake it's like this was made on an Indian burial ground or something.

Second, they trying to convince people that NOT having a gun is safer than having one. Their argument being that some people are stupid and leave their guns lying around with a full mag and the safety off. And some people end up shooting themselves or a loved one. Great, but where's the evidence that there are more gun-related accidents than unarmed killings?

Third, guns are bad because they kill people. No shit. Guns were designed to kill. They were forged in war and later used for hunting and sport. And yet just as many people die from drowning each year. 3 times as many people are killed each year by vehicles. And vehicles even harm the environment while it does its killing. Ban assault cars and swimming pools! It's the same stupid principle in the UK where they think it's a better idea for people to accept being defenceless and get attacked by knife-wielding pricks than to allow carry rights. You do not get a say in how much of a risk my life should be in.

Forth, they're heavily implying that owning a gun puts you in the same category as deranged killers. 'Oh this type of gun was used by Adam Lanza to kill-' so fucking what? I've seen people burn a house down as revenge against the inhabitants. Should we now consider anyone who uses fire to be in the same league as arsonists? 'Looking to start up your barbeque, huh? You might as well be condoning the killing of children.'

Finally, the whole self-righteous fucking tone throughout the video. 'Look at how amazing we are and we're so sad about innocents being killed, we're convincing people to not protect themselves. Our eyes are just so open.' That music, like they're gently whacking off in my ear over how much they hate guns. No, dickwad, it isn't the gun that's the problem. It's the owner. So you're either calling everyone who walked into that shop a useless cunt or you're just being a fucking idiot.

I saw this elsewhere but I felt the need to find an actual article.

Fat guy gets thin but ends up with a ton of excess skin. Inspirational for some? Maybe. But it's pretty much undermined by what this guy says.

"I'm really scared to put this up because I'm scared people won't think I'm attractive any more."

To be honest, he wasn't an oil painting to begin with. And without a shirt on, he looks like Zoidberg out of his shell. So no, he isn't attractive.

But it's not just his desire for validation from strangers that irks me. It's what he then goes on to say.

"I wanted to share this with you guys because I think it's important that I'm not ashamed about who I am, because I worked really hard to get here and I still don't have the body that I want. I'm really scared to put this up because this is who I am. And I worked so hard to lose all the weight... and I'm not going to be ashamed of who I am. Not any more.

No, he shouldn't be ashamed of losing weight. He should be ashamed he let himself get to that stage in the first place, but at least he's done something about it. But he's an outright fucking lying hypocrite. He claims he's proud of himself and he wants to promote 'body positivity', and yet he's got a fucking crowdfunding page to get rid of the excess skin!

Clearly, he's not proud of who he is and he's using the low self-esteem of other people who struggle with their body image to get himself surgery. It's like preaching that poverty is great, while asking for donations to buy a mansion. He's a fucking manipulative con artist.

And people will cheer for it, because fear is a powerful tool ..

"because then you're watching television, you're watching the news, you're being filled with fear. There's floods, there's AIDS, there's murder, cut to commercial, buy the Acura (car model), buy the Colgate (toothpaste brand), if you have bad breath they're not going to talk to you, if you have pimples, the girl's not going to have sex with you, and it's just this campaign of fear, and consumption, and that's what I think it's all based on, the whole idea of keep everyone afraid, and they'll consume.'" - Marilyn Manson

I can see it now: 'We must all undergo 'thought-training' in order to not have racist or sexist thoughts!'

Or, you know, stop trying to force this fallacy that everyone is the same no matter what. Having to rewrite a person's thought patterns to fit a narrative is retarded.

Wow. Scary that they even contemplate 'training to standard'. Does the Left not realize they are the ones pushing the thought police agenda?

Let's keep it to those seeking help with disorders or addiction please.

It's a bizarre logic, isn't it? Liberals, who are supposed to be all for freedom, look to restrict people's thoughts.

So I just had a knock on my front door, all the Americans here will know what that Saturday morning knock was, but I'll elaborate.

I didn't ask who they were representing because I don't care, 7th day Adventists, Mormons, whatever. Usually I just ignore them, but I was expecting company so I answered the door without looking. An adorable 7-9 year old girl was facing me with her equally adorable little brother, and who I assume their father, I didn't even look at him. Not interested, I said, little waif replies, why not? Now right there if that was an adult I would have quite a few things to say about why not, but I'm not going to go off on a child that has been brainwashed. I replied back, I'm just not interested, but thank you, and closed the door.

I just find it disgusting that someone would be so cowardly to use their children as tools in this way.

Dude, I've had them use a girl to try to convince me to join! First visit, they're an old bloke and an old woman. Second visit, they bring a stunner along and introduce me to her without much care for their actual message, as though I'm going to just go 'okay, where do I sign up?' because she bats her lashes like a pro. These evangelist types will try anything to score a point.

This happened at my house over 10 years ago.  The Mormons sent two kids (around 10 years old) to my door while the adults didnt even enter the garden.  My mum answered and stormed passed the kids and gave the adults all sorts of abuse and then threatened to call social services.  Since then they have never came to my door again.  I see them now and again going round the doors but they always miss my house out.  I guess it is blacked listed
