NEW!
  • Daily Challenges: Enjoy many new challenges which update every day and week to reap powerful rewards which allow you to improve the best gear in the game even further!
  • New Token System: All tokens in the game have been combined and you now only need Black Bullion or Marks of the Pantheon.
  • Two Fresh Raids: The Bird of the Zero Point Pathogen (Flappy) and the Eidolon of the Outer Dark are now ten man Raids which can be done every three days.

GENERAL
Tilty says...
Over the years we have added one too many currencies to the game, making things a little bit convoluted.
With this update, we re-evaluated the need for all those currencies and decided to combine most of the existing ones into two: Black Bullions and Marks of the Pantheons.
Most activities in the game will reward you with either currency, or both.
Vendors that will trade their special goods for those currencies can be found in all hubs.

 

  • A cap has been placed on the amount of Black Bullion a player can carry.
  • Marks of the Pantheon have been added. Players can earn a limited amount of this new currency per week, and can only carry up to a certain amount at any time.
  • Shortened the distance at which test dummies in the training rooms lose aggro to the player from 21m to 15m.
  • It is no longer possible to purchase the Signal Hunter title if you already have it.
  • The emote dance_hitman_lean will now work with the Shoes of Synchronicity.
  • The "/cabal remove" command will now accept a player name, and can be used to remove both online and offline players from a cabal.
  • It is no longer possible to delete a mail while it still has items attached.

GUI
Tilty says...
We've completely revamped the LFG window and increased its overall usefulness!
You will now be able to add a comment next to your entry. Its functionality has also been expanded beyond simply looking for dungeon or raid groups.
You can use the Social window to advertise any event you might be holding.
Check it out often, and if you find something you are interested in joining, simply meet-up or send a message to the person by right-clicking their name.

 

  • The Looking For Group UI has been overhauled into the Social UI.
  • Signing up through the Social UI now allows you to select an activity, location, and difficulty level in addition to Roles.
  • Signing up through the Social UI now allows you to add a comment up to 120 characters that will be displayed to other players.
  • The Social UI now displays name, roles, activity, location, and comment for players currently signed up.
  • Added Tabula Rasa as a location for social activities in the Social UI.
  • A filters button has been added to the Social UI to filter the results shown.
  • Players can filter results by activity and difficulty.
  • Players can update their entry in the Social UI without removing themselves from the listing by using the update button on an existing listing.
  • Meet Up has been added to the right click and player menu in the Social UI.
  • View Entry has been added to the right click and player menu in the Social UI.
  • View Entry in the Social UI can be used to show you additional information about an entry, including difficulty and full length comment.
  • The Social UI will no longer display entries for players who are on your ignore list.
  • The Social UI will now run a background search every 15 minutes and display how many players are signed up matching your filters in system chat.
  • Added a "Show Social Reminders" option under Notifications to enable or disable the 15 minute background search.
  • Added a new interface option under Advanced -> Privacy that blocks incoming group join requests.
  • Show Sign Up Notifications option has been split into Show Social Notifications and Show PvP Notifications.
  • Joining a team no longer prevents you from signing up for the Social UI, nor does it remove your listing if you are already signed up.
  • Requesting to join the party of someone in a full team on a raid will send the request to the group leader of the first team that has an open space.
  • Players signed up for the Dungeon activity will be automatically removed when their team size reaches 5.
  • Players signed up for the Raid activity will be automatically removed when their raid size reaches 10.
  • Added an overlay on the castbar of uninterruptable attacks.
  • Fixed an issue where swapped hotbar abilities would not visually enable or disable properly.
  • Fixed an issue where some abilities would not be disabled in the GUI when they were locked.
  • Updated the shop, tokens, world domination, and PvP scoreboard UIs with new token icons for black bullion and marks of the pantheon.
  • World Domination UI no longer displays tick based rewards for Fusang Projects.
  • Updated the rewards display in the World Domination UI to show new rewards.

  • Fixed an issue where rewards would display incorrectly on the PvP Scoreboard.

Tilty says...
Issue #12 introduces a brand new feature: Challenges.
Completing them will grant you bonus rewards, so make sure you check out what new challenges are available every day and try to complete the ones you like.
The daily challenges will reset everyday at 10:00 GMT, and weekly challenges reset every Tuesday morning at the same time.

 

  • A new window has been added to display challenges. You can access this window from the top menu or by pressing shift+J.
  • Added a new get effect animation for when challenges are completed.
  • Added a new notification icon for when challenges are completed.
  • Added new icons for challenges in the Challenge Journal.
  • Added a new option under notifications to display or hide challenge completion notifications.
  • Added an option under General Interface Options to open the challenge journal on login if new challenges are available.
  • Added an option to show reminders periodically when there are unclaimed pending rewards.
  • Makeup selection box for the barber shop is now a static size. This will prevent it from falling off the top and bottom of the screen for players with lots of makeup options playing at low resolutions.
  • Fixed an issue where text could be cut off on the radio button selection UI.
  • The following windows will now remember their last position when opened:

ITEMS
  • All Venice items have been updated and converted to Custom items. They will now function just as their Custom counterparts for the purposes of upgrading.
  • The Contrivance vendor in the faction HQs will now sell a Contrivance upgrade toolkit which will allow a blue Contrivance to be upgraded to a purple one. This item costs 950 Black Bullion and requires Battle Rank 4 or higher to purchase.
  • Nightwatch Glyph toolkits have been added to the Nightwatch vendors.
  • Criterion Upgrade and Astral Fuse have been added to the Nightwatch vendors.
  • Weapons and Talismans bought from the PvP Vendors in faction hubs can now be disassembled.
  • The Deep Mystery Box has been updated to include the new Mark of the Pantheon.
  • Blue and Green signet items now describe how you can upgrade them by combining 10 of them.
  • Fixed an issue that threw a FIFO error message the second time players use the remuneration field in the same playfield.
  • The Multichromatic Cardinal is no longer able to be purchased if you have already learnt it.
  • Fixed an issue which caused groups which had formed into a raid to not receive Black Bullion in certain cases.
  • Removed the vendor who sold Epic gear from The Sunken Library in Venice. This vendor has been replaced by a Nightwatch Weapon Dealer and a Nightwatch Equipment Dealer.
  • Fixed an issue which caused the Auxiliary weapon (Mod) tooltip to not appear on Whips.
  • Black Bullion which drops in Lair or Nightmare camps has been changed to Uncommon rarity to allow groups to roll on them.

ACHIEVEMENTS
  • Reaping the Whirlwind achievements have received a new icon.
  • Rear Windows can once again be obtained.
  • Annalist now requires all The Black Signal lore from its specified categories.

MISSIONS
  • General
  • Updated several missions which did not award any tokens to now award Black Bullion.
  • The first mission of Issue 9, Issue 10, and Issue 11 are now visible in the game world, even if the Issue has not been purchased. These missions still require purchasing the relevant Issue.
  • Relocated several missions from the void and placed them into proper zone categories:
    • City of the Sun God - The Binding
    • City of the Sun God - The Black Pharaoh's Guard
    • Scorched Desert - O Tempora! O Mores!

Kingsmouth Town
  • Flame Away - It is no longer necessary to change zones or relog to be able to pick up Cans of gasoline after completing the mission.

Kaidan
  • Reduced the amount of Black Bullion gained when doing story missions in Kaidan for the first time. Instead, finishing the final story mission for issues 9 and 10 for the first time will now also reward a MkI Memory Expansion Module. Finishing the issue 11 story for the first time will award a MkII Memory Expansion Module.
  • The Pagans - The bounty has been removed from Aoi's head. She should no longer vanish from the zone.
  • Runaway Circus - No longer incorrectly displays as a Nightmare mission.

COMBAT
  • General
  • Most enemies now finish executing a current ability before they turn against a target they hate more.
  • Damage reduction effects which last until the next hit, such as Saving Grace, Fleeting Fortress, and Art of War, will now be triggered when any health is lost.

Elementalism
  • Updated the short description of Critical Control to correctly state that it increases critical rating.

Assault Rifles
  • Fixed an issue where Shot of Anima would not be treated as a resource consumer in some cases.
  • Fixed an issue where Anima Outbreak would not be treated as a resource consumer in some cases.

Pistols
  • Fixed an issue where Killer Flow could generate secondary weapon resources when not hitting a target.

Fists
  • Gore should now deal damage properly when having the duration refreshed rapidly by multiple attackers.
  • Hot Iron should now trigger for each tick of the Scarlet Arts channel that it is able to.

DUNGEONS AND RAIDS
  • General
  • The final bosses of Elite difficulty dungeons will now drop Black Bullion.
  • The final bosses of Nightmare difficulty dungeons will now drop Marks of the Pantheon.
  • Elite raid bosses will now drop Marks of the Pantheon.
  • Nightmare dungeons no longer have lockout timers.
  • Swapping AEGIS shields will no longer fail the Master Planner achievement.

The Polaris
  • Fixed issue that occasionally caused Haugbui Mother not to respawn after a team wipe.
  • Haugbui Mother will drop loot even when she's killed extremely fast.

 

Tilty says...
The Eidolon of the Outer Dark is no longer part of the Lair progression, we replaced him with the ability to summon new World Bosses.
Combining the Ritual Fragments (Head, Heart and Hand) will now reward you with Summoning Ritual Materials, which will grant you the ability to summon a World Boss either in New England, Egypt, or Transylvania.
Those world bosses will require the help of the entire zone to defeat and will reward every participants individually, as well as dropping additional epic rewards for the original summoners.

Eidolon of the Outer Dark
  • The Eidolon of the Outer Dark no longer requires a lair key to open the raid portal, or access loot.
  • The Eidolon of the Outer Dark has become more dangerous while Strength from Beyond is active.
  • The Eidolon of the Outer Dark no longer removes players from the anima well halfway through the fight.

Agartha Defiled
  • Agartha Defiled has returned! It may be accessed from a low branch in Agartha. This raid has been designed for 10 players.

The Penthouse
  • Filthy Amalgam's basic attack now does Physical damage. Additionally, its damage on Nightmare has been further tweaked.

SCENARIOS
  • General
  • The final bosses of Nightmare difficulty scenarios will now drop Marks of the Pantheon.

PVP
General
  • Significantly increased the overall power of the Equal Footing effect.
  • Black Bullion rewards in PvP Minigames and Fusang are now scaled based on the participants Faction Rank. The winning team members additionally win a Mark of the Pantheon.
  • Obsolete tokens are no longer awarded in PvP.
  • Distinctions of the Council have been removed, and will no longer be given out when increasing Battle Rank.
  • Battle Rank requirements have been added to the PvP Uniforms. These uniforms are available at the Contrivance Quartermaster.
  • Reduced the penetration mitigation provided by PvP Uniforms to 10% (was 20%).
  • The High-Powered Weaponry uniform has received the following changes:
    • Increased the damage reduction provided by the suit to 5% (was 2%).
    • Increased the penalty on heal, barrier, and leech effects provided by the suit to -15% (was -5%).
    • Increased the glance reduction bonus provided by the suit to 4% (was 3%).
    • Increased the damage bonus provided by the suit to 8% (was 5%).
  • The Reinforced Armour uniform has received the following changes:
    • Increased the penalty on heal, barrier, and leech effects provided by the suit to -15% (was -5%).
    • Increased the damage reduction effect provided by the suit to 10% (was 5%).
  • The Integrated Anima Conduits uniform has received the following change:
    • Increased the penalty to damage dealt provided by the suit to -10% (was -6%).

Fusang
  • Removed the tick based reward system from Fusang Projects. Instead, there is a new set of missions which can be taken from any Anima Well, Facility, or home base. These missions will change every 5 minutes and offer different activities to perform while in Fusang.
  • Removed the button that repairs the gate/turret around the outer facilities in Fusang Projects. The only way to repair the turret is now to take the facility it was guarding.
  • Added Pax rewards to all Fusang rotating missions.
  • Added Mark of the Pantheon reward to Complex Fusang rotating missions.
  • The Underdog mission is available only at the underdog custodian now.
  • Kill credit for the 'Defeat' missions is now awarded to anyone on the killing player's faction who is nearby the person killed.

 

 

 

Funcom Update 1.12 Hotfix - August 25th

GUI

* Challenge missions no longer appear in the finished missions section of the Mission Journal.

 

* Added the uninterruptable cast bar overlay to various enemies in lairs.

Update Notes 1.12.1 - August 27th

GENERAL
  • Pit and Pendulum have held a mandatory etiquette class for all Templar guards. The guards will no longer be so friendly to Dragon or Illuminati, and will no longer be as mistrustful of Templar.
  • Weekly token gains will now reset on Tuesdays at 10:00 UTC.


GUI
  • Fixed a case where the time until weekly reset would be displayed incorrectly in the Challenge Journal.
  • There is now a limit to how many social window searches you can do in a short time.
  • Added completion progress to Challenge Journal headers.

The Abyssopelagic Horror
  • Adjusted the radius of Deep Blast to better match its visual effect.


Bunica Padurii
  • Reduced the radius required for a Padruii's wisp to re-link with its master. This should make it easier to move a Padurii once its wisps are hindered and have started to cast "One with the Forest".
  • Bunica Padurii's wisps should no longer randomly remove their buffs from Bunica Padurii while still alive and linked, and no longer randomly leave their buffs on Bunica Padurii after death or returning to the forest.
  • Bunica Padurii has exhausted her infinite supply of wisps. She will now summon only the intended number of wisps.

 

1.12.1 Hotfix - September 1st

GENERAL
  • Added a new vendor to Venice named Council Mystery Augmentor. This vendor sells items which grant a random blue or better augment of a specified type: Damage, Healing, Support, or Survivability.
  • Added a new vendor to each faction's headquarters. This vendor sells pure materials and is located near the Contrivance and Compound vendors.
  • Once the Mark of the Pantheon cap (either weekly or total) has been reached, players who gain more Marks of the Pantheon will instead gain bonus Black Bullion. The amount of Bullion gained scales with the difficulty of the activity. For example, defeating the final boss of the Polaris while at the Mark of the Pantheon cap will award 30 Black Bullion instead of the normal Mark of the Pantheon reward.


GUI
  • Fixed an issue that could cause a client to stutter when approaching mission giver NPCs.
  • Fixed a typo in the description of the Orochi Scorpius-Mini pet.


ITEMS
  • Fixed an issue where some Custom talismans were not able to be upgraded.
  • Removed the Signet reward bag from the list of items sold by the Envoys of Ca' d'Oro. This item is now sold by the Council Mystery Augmentor in Venice and no longer requires any purchased Issues to purchase. A PAX cost has also been added to this item.
  • Nanite Control Amulet talisman from The Manufactory dungeon is no longer incorrectly labeled as a Custom talisman.


MISSIONS
General
  • The raid missions for Manhattan Exclusion Zone, Agartha Defiled, and N'gha-Pei the Corpse-Island no longer have the Nightmare overlay to better convey that these are Elite raids. The difficulty of these Elite raids has not been changed.


Kaidan
  • The Bank Heist - "Catch me if you can" achievement is now awarded to everyone in the group who qualifies for it instead of a single person.


CHALLENGES
  • Reduced the number of Marks of the Pantheon gained from Daily Dungeon challenges to 10.


COMBAT
General
  • Changed the formula for diminishing returns on Attack Rating and Heal Rating. Higher values of Attack Rating and Heal Rating past a certain threshold will now provide a consistent increase to overall damage rather than a diminishing increase.


Assault Rifles
  • Fixed an issue that caused the direct heal from Anima Burst to not be affected by Eagle Eye, Improved Bursts, or other related bonus effects.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the direct heal from Anima Shot to not be affected by Eagle Eye or other related bonus effects.


DUNGEONS AND RAIDS
General
  • Increased the number of Marks of the Pantheon that drop from Nightmare dungeon final bosses. Dungeons in the New England region drop 2, Egypt 3, Transylvania 4, and Tokyo 8.


The Facility
  • Fixed an issue where Marks of the Pantheon were dropping from the incorrect boss in the nightmare version of the Facility.


The Manufactory
  • Fixed an issue that could allow the Drone Amalgam to die without dropping loot or updating the mission.
  • Increased the amount of Black Bullion dropped by bosses in the nightmare version of The Manufactory.
  • Bosses in the nightmare version of The Manufactory will no longer drop green quality Filth Samples.
  • Fixed a typo in the Manticore Tank's Cannon Blast ability.
  • Fixed an issue that would mean the achievement "Production Halted (Elite)" was sometimes not awarded on successful completion.


Agartha Defiled
  • The health of the Bird of the Zero Point Pathogen has been reduced.
  • Fixed the Bird of the Zero Point Pathogen showing as Nightmare in the UI.
  • Adjusted the behavior of the Bird of the Zero Point Pathogen while on the upper platform.

  • The snowstorm is no longer visible while on the 2nd floor of The Castle.

GENERAL
  • Fixed an issue that caused some monsters to incorrectly provide Monster race kill achievement credit when they should not have.
  • Using the Dismount ability on a premium mount will no longer trigger the global cooldown.
  • Agartha - Gaia has granted those who have bested the Gatekeeper access to another Agartha branch, where Nightmare Raid entrances are located. This branch is accessed from the dungeon branch.


GUI
  • Tokyo - Orochi Tower - Corrected the ordering of repeatable story missions in the mission pick-up UI at the tower entrance.
  • The skills UI has been reorganized to be more in line with the order in which players unlock new skills.
  • Added new categories and item types for Cosmetic items, including Clothing, Makeup, Pets, Mounts, Emotes, and Titles.
  • Added new search filters to the auction house for the new Cosmetic item categories.

  • Container bosses in Kaidan will now drop Uncommon quality Black Bullion to help prevent accidental looting by team members.
  • The Orochi Researcher in Kaidan and the Nightwatch Engineer in faction hubs now sells AEGIS Firmware Upgrade v2.0 kits for Black Bullion and Marks of the Pantheon.
  • Nightwatch Engineers in all faction hubs now sell Superior auxiliary weapon upgrade toolkits. These toolkits will allow an Epic auxiliary weapon to be improved in power even further. The toolkit will only upgrade an auxiliary weapon which has been upgraded to Epic.

Manhattan Exclusion Zone

First impression of PvP:

Fusang is a zergfest currently. There are so many people in there. Not sure how long the big numbers will last, but for now it's hopping with people from all factions.

The new dynamic Missions keep you doing all kinds of things. The big problem is it literally becomes follow the zerg, with no reason to defend a Facility. The queue's are short which is nice and you can rack up good rewards, but from a pure PvP view it's a mess right now. The new EF Buff and changes to the Uniform Bonuses is probably going to spur dome deck changes.

Time will tell but if it stays like current, it's go and farm BB and MoP's until you get tired of the zergathon.

El Dorado increased pop's are good, the higher health has slowed things down a bit for now. Games are playing like normal, the MoP reward for the winners is a nice touch but I'm worried it may make pre-mades keep others locked out.

Stonehenge I haven't gone to yet, but I imagine it's playing out like ED and might have the same potential issues.

Inside your faction HQ. You should have 3 vendors 1 ea. for weapons, talismans, glyphs. At least for Illuminati they are the same guys that sold Custom pieces before the patch. The old Venice vendors have been removed.

That's where they use to be, I noticed a lot less vendors at HQ, found the talismans, but nothing else, I'll have to look again.

Yea several vendors, Venice Gear, were removed. They kept the Nightwatch guys that sold Custom Gear. Again for Lumies, these 3 vendors are in the same place as pre 1.12, all together across the complex from the removed vendors.

at least in my opinion, though they aren't just Dailies. There are 3 levels of "achievement"

Dailies

Reset every morning.

4 random Achievements, 1 in each catagory:

Mission of your choice of a specified type ( Action, Sabotage, etc. ) in a specified zone

PVP participation either participate in Stonehenge or El Dorado, or complete 2 Fusang Missions 

Scenario complete at specified difficulty achieving specified rank or higher ( Elite/Gold, Normal/Platnum, no Nightmare )

Dungeon complete at the specified difficulty, Nightmare difficulty will also specify a Region

 

Weeklies

Reset every Tuesday morning

7 static Achievements:

Complete 15 Main Missions of your choice

Complete 5 Scenarios at any difficulty with a silver or higher rank

Get a victory in El Dorado or Stonehenge

Complete 5 Elite Dungeons

Complete 10 Nightmare Dungeons

Complete 3 Elite Raids

Kill 3 World Bosses

 

Weekly Completions

Pax awards for completing 1, 5, 15, and 25 Achievements with the 25th completion also rewarding a mystery box or deep mystery box.

 

I really like how there is stuff for pretty much every playstyle and situation available both daily and weekly. Sure, the more variety of content you play the faster you'll earn MoPs but if you're not in the "must have it all right now" club, you can get your stuff doing just what you want or like.

The Mission dailies offer a great chance to go back and replay through your favorite content, visit your favorite NPC's, re-watch cutscenes etc. and with the I12 Currency consolidation you're earning relevant marks as the actual quest  rewards.

The PvP dailies have had a very good impact on El Dorado and Stonehenge queues. Fusang is having some issues as the Fusang changes have drastically altered play objectives. Fusang is either really hopping or just dead at any given moment. FunCom is going to need to address some things there, hopefully before I.13 

The Scenario achievements let people choose from solo, duo, or group, as well as Normal, Elite and Nightmare, with the weekly also giving you a Blue Augment Bag. I'm seeing a lot more call out for Scenarios than usual.

The Dungeon achievements have Sanctuary and Noobmares setting up pugs constantly. It's nice to be able to hop into Elite Dungeons more as that's where the Blue Aux Weapon Upgrade Kits drop. Also by specifying regions for nightmares it's awesome to run things like Slaughterhouse, Ankh, Facility, etc. instead of the usual 18/24's. People are running everything.

The 3 new summoned World Bosses have been awesome. Players teaming up and filling a dimension to take down Bosses and with everyone getting at least a Blue Signet, I've managed 2 purples too so far, it's quite fun. Lag is an issue that they hopefully improve on soon.

 

All in all I'm really happy with how FunCom put the daily system together. I do think it rewards a bit much but that is ore a product of the Currency Consolidation than anything.

For those with limited time for TSW the daily system gives you a good reason to check in and play a little.

The dailies are a nice addition for a casual like me, I just can't do Kaiden dailies because I never purchased it and I avoid scenarios at all costs.

1.12.1 Hotfix - September 1st

GENERAL
  • Added a new vendor to Venice named Council Mystery Augmentor. This vendor sells items which grant a random blue or better augment of a specified type: Damage, Healing, Support, or Survivability.
  • Added a new vendor to each faction's headquarters. This vendor sells pure materials and is located near the Contrivance and Compound vendors.
  • Once the Mark of the Pantheon cap (either weekly or total) has been reached, players who gain more Marks of the Pantheon will instead gain bonus Black Bullion. The amount of Bullion gained scales with the difficulty of the activity. For example, defeating the final boss of the Polaris while at the Mark of the Pantheon cap will award 30 Black Bullion instead of the normal Mark of the Pantheon reward.


GUI
  • Fixed an issue that could cause a client to stutter when approaching mission giver NPCs.
  • Fixed a typo in the description of the Orochi Scorpius-Mini pet.


ITEMS
  • Fixed an issue where some Custom talismans were not able to be upgraded.
  • Removed the Signet reward bag from the list of items sold by the Envoys of Ca' d'Oro. This item is now sold by the Council Mystery Augmentor in Venice and no longer requires any purchased Issues to purchase. A PAX cost has also been added to this item.

  • The Bank Heist - "Catch me if you can" achievement is now awarded to everyone in the group who qualifies for it instead of a single person.

  • Reduced the number of Marks of the Pantheon gained from Daily Dungeon challenges to 10.

  • Changed the formula for diminishing returns on Attack Rating and Heal Rating. Higher values of Attack Rating and Heal Rating past a certain threshold will now provide a consistent increase to overall damage rather than a diminishing increase.

Hotfix - September 17th

GENERAL
  • Added a new currency, the Lucky Coin, which can be used to purchase choice items found in Lucky Bags from Mr. Knickknack, Vendor of Lucky Baubles. Mr Knickknack has setup shop in the Darkside of London.

  • Added a column for Difficulty to the Social UI.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause tooltips to occasionally not clean up properly. This may increase game performance over time for some players.

Let me shed some light on the new Lucky Bags that were introduced with today's patch.



We have had many requests over the past years to introduce a system in the item store similar to the Mystery Boxes, but that would grant social items instead. Given the popularity of the Mystery Boxes, we decided to experiment a little bit with Social bags and this is how the seasonal event bags came to be.



We have since been asked by many of you to have a permanent version of those bags, so we came up with the Lucky Bag system. Those new bags will remain in the store, and we're planning to release additional ones every few months, each with unique rewards centered around a new theme every time. Furthermore we've made all items from Lucky Bags trade-able until used, so what happens to them after purchase will be up to you, the community! 



In order to even out the odds a bit, we've implemented the Lucky Coin system, which will allow you to purchase the rarest items from all of the latest and past Lucky Bags directly from a vendor, as well as a few color variation from the other more common items.


I know it might feel weird to see a new currency implemented so soon after the Currency revamp from last month, but keep in mind the revamp only affected Systems centric currencies. Events and Item Store related currencies remain untouched (The Gambler's Markers you have accumulated during the last golden event will re-appear during the next Golden Week too!). The Lucky Coins are more of a item store “loyalty program” that we can sometimes give away during certain event or promotions

The special events bag will remain as they currently are. They will still be available for a couple of weeks during a particular seasonal event. They will still include single and group “party” bags, as well as being purchasable within the game world for Black Bullions. The next event coming up will be Halloween. We have already made tons of exciting and spooky items for the occasions, and we'll also implement a way for everyone to get another chance at some of last's year rewards.



Finally we are not currently planing to make a group/party version of the Lucky Bags. However... we are also currently working on a way to add a Gift functionality to the item store... this will be coming out soon(tm) (and you didn't hear this from me!)

BTW The Hoverboard kicks ass. Smooth animations and great handling. Ranks up there with WoW Druids Flight Form imo, which is my favorite sprint/mount of all time.

The dailies are a nice addition for a casual like me, I just can't do Kaiden dailies because I never purchased it and I avoid scenarios at all costs.

Yea, they did a very nice job with the daily selection. We should be seeing some updating and more options come 12.5 which I think will release this week. Also the Social Panel should be getting upgraded to include a Dungeon Group Finder, which will be nice.

Scenarios are also getting a loot update that will smooth out rewards. The guaranteed Blue+ Augment from finishing the Scenario Weekly has gone a long way towards helping, and the purchasable Blue Augment Bags are nice too, though all my BB's are for gear upgrades atm.

With the Dailies and Weeklies there are lots of pugs forming where they go to the normal and elite ones set on solo but take a group. You might try one of those. If you haven't already check out the chat channels Sanctuary and Noobmares. Noobmares is specifically for new players just getting started in NM's. Very helpful and relaxed people. The majority of us in Noobmares are geared and experienced and know that the run is likely not going to be fast and smooth. It's a great place to get solid advice and make new friends.

Update 1.12.6 - October 27th

GENERAL
  • Reduced the distance at which practice targets in the training rooms forget about the player.
  • Increased the base out of combat health regeneration rate for player characters.
  • AEGIS modules and capacitors can now be disassembled to gain research data for AEGIS controllers. The amount of research data gained is based on the rarity of the module or capacitor. Ensure the controllers which are meant to gain the research data are active and equipped when disassembling these items.


GUI
  • Fixed an issue where the raid UI could display improperly for some players.
  • Improved performance of the Team and Buffs UI.
  • Did some optimizations on the way that buffs are displayed and updated.


COMBAT
General
  • Adjusted a couple of monsters' susceptibility to being pulled towards the player with abilities.
  • Each point of Critical Rating will now give a bigger increase to Critical Chance.

Assault Rifles
  • Fixed a typo in the French client for Demolition, Man.

Quantum
  • Fixed an issue where certain Quantum weapon abilities could cause friendly NPCs to attack you.

General
  • The scoreboard for PvP minigames will now show the correct amount of Marks of the Pantheon that have been awarded.

FunCom comes through again!

The Halloween Event was announced to start today with the 1.12.6 patch. Then last night we got word that Halloween would be delayed because of an issue in the launch build. Today I get up and they've resolved the issue and launched the Event.

Total time delay 4 hrs.

Why these guys don't get the support from gamers who complain about company integrity and waste is beyond me. These guys do more with almost nothing than larger developers with way more resources.
