Now I feel old...

Recommended Posts

I just read something that made me feel really fucking old!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-39005630

Apparently Kurt Cobain would have been 50 yesterday... where the fuck did that time go?

fucking hell.

Another depressing fact, my year of birth (1980) is closer to WW2 than we are now to 1980.

Also being from 1980 you have just made me feel old.  I havent felt this old since 2015 when Back to the Future was 30 years old and we were in the time of Back to the Future 2

Shit, that's actually strange to think of.

Tangentially, it reminds me of a small fact: tyrannosaurs lived closer to our time than to the time of stegosaurs. Time's weird like that.

Don't worry, at least you still count as Millennials. Granted, the millennials are getting old...

What a bunch of whiny bastards... I got me a boil on my butt older than you.

Baby boomers! That's were it's at!

Now do your job... go to work and pay taxes so you can pay for my health care.

A pittance. As a percentage of government expenses you're talking 0.001% or so. Probably less. Gather 50 people and you'll have it covered. The rest of the 60 million will cover most everything else.

I sometimes laugh at the big deal made of MP's or Congressional expenses while ignoring the billions+++ spent on wasteful government expenditures.

I'm so old now I remember a time when forum threads on the Internet would devolve into memes and gifs, now they just end with serious politics talk.

I hope my taxes are not paying for your health care

I was kidding, of course. I know what my taxes are spent on, as we, as Tax payers, receive a breakdown of what our tax contributions have been spent on throughout the tax year. Damned dwarves always have to be so serious.....
