help buying ROI

Right I've brought it and got my code :) unlike my brother's who just put his code in and was given the stuff, I put my code in but takes me to the subscription page and says

" A payment method is required to activate this Product Key. Please select a payment method below " ... I have already brought the 12 month sub so I'm not paying anything else ... Help?

I wish I had an answer for you, but I just find it really unfortunate how many issues you are running into since the "merge". I hope that it gets resolved with the help of someone wiser than I (a rather large pool of people, I might add).

If you are on a reoccurring VIP subscritpion, simply select that plan again, agree to the TOS and submit.

If you are Premium or Free and don't want to upgrade to VIP:

Select "Game Card or Other Payment Option"

On the next page, check off "I don't have one now, I'll give you one later."

Agree to the TOS and submit!

I was about to suggest that. But isn't there any phone support for English speaking EU players? Am wondering as, while it is a US number, there is German support during EU work hours, albeit only for account issues. http://de.support.turbine.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=24011

But then, US work hours would actually make it available just about now, so maybe not too bad. ;)

Done this and got the stuff .... BUT it said click the subscription again if your VIP ... so I did that but i don't know if it has actually charged me for two of them ... which if it has I want £89.99 :(

Concerning the overseas call, I have to shake my head at my own countrymen, who will be quick to suggest that overseas callers should just pay money to use Skype to make the call, rather than asking Turbine to keep a phone support line available closer to where they are. Sometimes, I don't think they realize how much easier they have it, living in the same country as the game company they interact with. I won't apologize for them, but I'll promise not to make thoughtless recommendations to you myself.

Not denying, that there should be a local number, but the costs aren't that bad. Albeit that is depending on the country and contract, I suppose.

Calling my parents in Austria, some 50 miles away, Codemasters support in UK or any number in the US costs me the same. For a small upgrade I could get a flat rate to most EU countries + US. No comparison to the fortunes I spent calling my lass in the US, but a decade ago. So yes, there is reason to complain. Just none to do it too loudly. ;)

Office hours is more of a concern. Though, as a late night customer, it's quite handy to use US hours.
