CHRISTOPHER POSNER
I do not understand how this quest is supposed to work. What exactly are you supposed to do when it says "Check on Manléof's injuries?" I have tried clicking on the body, but nothing happens.
Woeg
I don;t remember that quest specifically - but I remember being confused by some of the Wildemore quests - the directions were not clear - did you try looking in the LOTRO Wiki with the exact quest name ? CHRISTOPHER POSNER
Thank you for your reply. Yes, I did look in the wiki, but it said nothing about this problem.
warspeech
When I had trouble like this with quest items that didn't respond, I generally logged off while next to the quest objective and restarted the game. It seems like sometimes things didn't load completely and got stuck, especially when I was playing for a long time, and restarting cleared that up. That's the only thing I have for you to try, unfortunately.
Talisman
Sometimes killing an enemy nearby triggers the quest item.
Woeg
I just looked at the Wiki description and I remember having a hard time triggering that one on one my toons - I think I wandered back and forth around the injured Manléof's and had to fight off some spawns before triggering the next step - but its been a while since I was in Wildermore P.S. I'm pretty sure I did the logout thing as well, and killing something nearby as well - something triggered it though is all I remember - lol
CHRISTOPHER POSNER
Thank you for all your help. I think the problem was that I ran away from the warg-riders too early. I cancelled the quest and then re-accepted it. The second time round, I fought the riders for longer and killed one of them, and the quest automatically advanced. Woeg
Ahhh - glad to hear that worked out - I hate getting stuck on land scape quests
warspeech
Wildermore was always a very buggy area, very laggy too. I remember the frustration of trying to do mounted combat and getting hurled off the side of cliffs. Fun times.
Macdui101
With this virtue debacle I figured I'd get some old virtue deeds finished off and just discovered one of my mains never took a step into Wildermore. Not looking forward to being alone in the woods out there.
