just a bit more...  lets pretend this Bolton book gets Republican senators to extend the trial to call witnesses...  extending the time frame of the trial by who knows how long...

how will it change anything?

because unless Trump can be committed for alleged "thought crimes", the outcome is the same regardless?

I pointed out earlier in this thread that if Trump pissed off McConnell that could be enough for the leader of the Senate to throw Trump to the sharks.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/mitch-mcconnell-is-angry-at-white-house-over-john-bolton-manuscript-report-says/ar-BBZnEtw?li=BBnb7Kz

Basically Trump and his cohorts held back knowing what Bolton might say in his book. This new entry into Trump's drama-rama, makes McConnell look like fool. Also having implications to McConnell's base at home where he is being contested for his Senate seat.

Which will McConnell choose? To save his position within his party? To save his party? To save the President?

Doing all of the above just became harder for McConnell.

McConnell's position from this point of today will depend on his conversation with Trump in the coming days. Without Trump gagging on a huge cup of humility during that moment, will all but pave the wave for a guilty vote in the Senate.

BTW, how have any of your previous speculations played out?

but don't let me discourage you...  you may be over the target, one of these times...

also,

Trumps acquittal is FOREVER.

You ask questions. I gave an opinion based on the current situation and how it is changing daily.

Actually some of those speculations have become fact.

I can assure you, you play no role in my state of mind or conviction. You were never empowered to influence let alone thinking you could discourage me.

Impeachment isn't defined as a one time event for any president. Even the United States congressional impeachment process can hit the target one of these times.

At the end of the Impeachment, is not the end for Trump no matter the outcome.

Johnson was impeached 140 some odd years ago, he still gets dinged with "impeached."  Clinton was impeached 20 years ago, he's still labeled as "impeached."  Trump will go down in history as the third President impeached.  It doesn't matter if he's acquitted.  The shame will follow him to his grave.  That's a hard pill to swallow for a narcissistic sack of crap like Trump.    The devotion to a man that doesn't even run the country you reside in is disturbing.  I suppose Canada, like any country, has to have its share of total morons.  Congrats cupcake! it gets to be you.

Are we really going to play games over whether or not there was ample reason to investigate the Bidens and Burisma?

The President has the power and authority to investigate corruption, and anyone disputing this is off their rocker.

We don't care if he investigates the Bidens.  Investigate them, go right ahead.  That doesn't justify Trump's actions.  There are legal channels Trump could have used to start an investigation into Joe Biden.  It would have been done in public.  Trump's goal was not to find any actual dirt on Biden but to make it seem like such dirt existed.  This is the thing Republitards don't understand.  Democrats have not sworn fielty to Joe Biden or his kid.  We aren't sitting here gargling Trump's sack chowder.

Has anyone even opened an official investigation into Biden?  "But Biden did it too" is the kind of defense children use.  Are all Republicans little children?  Apparently so.  Grow a pair and be a man or woman, I wouldn't want to assume your gender.  Your boy got caught, time to face the music.

This President feeds on conspiracy theories and asskissers.  He's a complete nutcase, probably due to years of drug abuse.  If you called Trump on the phone and told him Hillary Clinton is forming an army of birds angry about windmills to take out the President, he'd believe you.  He's that unhinged.

We've been whistling this tune for dozens of pages now. I think it would take writing it on a note and strapping it to a brick for it to get through their thick skulls.

Even that wouldn't work.  They'd claim the brick was a plant by the libtard cuck snowflake brick consortium.   Perhaps the brick is a member of the "Deep State."  You can definitely forget it if you use recycled paper, that save the environment horseshit is for liberal(removed, because I came to my senses)  Staple it to Tim Pool's hat.  The one he is clearly wearing to keep is brain from oozing out.

So much Dunning-Kruger in this thread. Or maybe even a Poe or two. I'm starting to think Amenhir is a pro-Trump parody account that's just trying to make the anti-Trumps look even more unhinged than they actually are.

Got any examples of that, or you just chatting shit again?

No Biden is on trial. If someone wants any Biden investigated that would be a separate issue with a different path and venue.

The President has no power or authority outside of United States. All the President and the US can do is leverage diplomacy outside of US borders.

Trump is using legal channels.  just not the Beltway Established channels you would like.

those same Beltway channels that used British Intelligence & that sourced a 4 chan pee-tape meme; all funded internally by both Dem & Republican insiders via CrowdStrike & Fusion GPS and all the FISA abuse that followed as a result...  or a media (including a portion of Fox News, hello Shep & Chris) that spins everything against him.

Trump is using legal means, but just because they aren't the same channels that exist in that tiny box head of yours...  doesn't make them any less legitimate.

no more than any Republican needs to swear fealty to Trump.

simply give me (i'll even go as far as saying "Us") a better option on either side of the card.

like a Bernie Sanders but with a more evenly balanced/distribution between the hybridized capitalist/socialist that hasn't been corrupted totally by Marxist ideologues (identity politics & theory of gender, over hard science) and preferably not a Jew...   or even a Rand Paul, but with a ton more backbone to fight much harder & that isn't just a punching bag for his neighbors.

so far neither Republicans, nor Democrats have been able to field a candidate that has more appeal than lack of.

to date Trump has been a very blunt instrument that has had sufficient levels of success to continue to warrant my support.  i'd happily support a more refined instrument, if one actually existed to accomplish my desired ends.  that has yet to happen however.

the current available alternatives all lack the fight needed make headway in a direction i desire, or are simply heading in the opposite direction.

the RESULTS Trump is getting, whilst no where near perfect, are still better than i could hope for with anyone else currently available.

it is really that simple, yet i expect this shall continue to elude you.

continue to straw man Trumps balls being guzzled...

soo hard, edge-lord.

I truly feel sorry for you.  You're so full of hate.  Seek professional help.  I don't need to give YOU a better option on who to vote for, because unlike you, I can vote in the upcoming election.  I suppose you're welcome to become a US citizen, your ilk will find a nice home in Alabama or something.  Unfortunately, you won't become one in time to vote for your personal lord and savior.  As an aside, I'm glad I've triggered you enough for you to resort to hate speech.  I'd imagine if I told you I was black you'd be throwing out the N-word.

I was thinking about visiting Canada this summer.  I was wondering if you could give me a general idea of what part you reside in.  This way I can completely avoid it.

your virtue is very self-evident, when you condescend ^THAT^ hard.

Kind of like the over and incorrect use of the term straw man.  We've provided video testimony, documents, and cogent arguments over the course of 30+ pages, and the three of you that are pro-Trump have not provided any real evidence to refute us.  I think boiling down your talking points was pretty spot on.  I don't think anything short of Trump stating on national television that he wants Ukraine and other foreign governments to investigate the Bidens would change your mind.

Oh wait...  he did do that.  Then I guess it straight up doesn't matter what he does.  I hope the whole ordeal screws Trump out of reelection.  Otherwise, it will give future Presidents carte blanche to do whatever they please.  We can't have that.  He needs to be held accountable in a real way or the next guy may declare himself King.  I don't think you guys want a Democrat in the WH to pull what Trump has.  In fact, you'd be losing your collective shit.

This. Precisely this. Trump is setting a very dangerous precedent, aided and abetted by Mitch McConnell and the rest of the GOP. The nepotism, corruption and self-dealing in the Trump admin is so rampant and egregious that it should be stopped, he should be held accountable and he should be removed from office. Same for McConnell, as he violates his oath of office as well with his antics. But I'm sure the GOP will not mind while there's a Republican in office. Wait until a Democrat does anything remotely like Trump... they will lose their collective shit so hard that the Voyager will pick up the screaming.

I'm also getting tired of the "the dems want to overturn the election results" bla bla bla that Fox and the others in Trump's Koolaid Crew are peddling... They do realise that if Trump is convicted and removed from office, that just means that Pence will assume the presidency. Now whether that's good is a whole other discussion, but it's still a Republican presidency.

My personal favorite argument is "They want to screw over the millions of people that voted for Trump."  What about the millions more that didn't vote for him.  I think it was at least 2 million more than Trump.  He didn't even have a mandate from the people. Those that liked him were always in the minority.

I don't understand how anyone can think he even has a smell of a chance of reelection.  Those that hated him REALLY HATE HIM, and those that were kind of on the fence about him don't like him now either.  Perhaps if he had made some attempt to not be a total assclown, he might have a chance.  If he had won the popular vote or had one the electoral college by a staggering amount, they might have an argument.  He didn't, 77k votes between Trump as President or Clinton.  It's not like it's a hard amount to overcome when the guy who won is a flaming bag of dog shit.
