A new analysis published in the journal Lancet adds some empirical heft to an argument many progressives have been making for years: A national single-payer health-care system would save tens of thousands of lives each year — and hundreds of billions of dollars.

I hate that nasal little prick, but it looks like the video has either been taken down or is blocked here in the UK. Was it that controversial?

Most of his videos are blocked in the UK at least on Youtube

If you're getting censored, how do you know that you're actually seeing the truth instead of a more... desirable... message?

By not treating YouTube as a suitable primary source of information.

Yeah, that video was pretty much what I expected. American late night shows are god awful.

Why do you think their ratings are in the dumpster?

Because I use enough to spot discrepancies.

And more proof that the Democrats have been crying for the last four years.  All they can do at this point is continue to cry for TDS has them in its grasp.  Kinda like you in this picture after Trump's victory in 2016:

Weird Al's a niche singer comedian that's also an accordion playing singer that's talented (at least by modern American standards).  While he does a lot of parody, he also does some original work.

Usual display of ignorance.

Had you not been so caught up in buzz in your infinitesimally, small sphere, you'd know TDS as emergent rhetoric, applied to insecure, paranoid Republicans. Being such as the case, coined phrases and words can and are usurped, from their original conception, it may be the case, where as in its ending iteration may be defined as, Trump supporters who themselves suffer from said syndrome. There by relieving the political spectrum of the indication regardless of perspective and properly placed where correctness has decided to have its final residence.

TL;DR: In case you are too fucking stupid to process what I said. You, yourself are the deranged one. Suffering from a maligned devotion to a lunatic.

And here's more proof that the insanity that has infiltrated the Democratic party is only really fracturing it...

Devotion is too strong of a word, merely acknowledging that Trump is the best choice out of a slew of really bad ones.

And the fact that it's a giant FU vote to most of the retards (like you) makes casting that vote in November all the more sweeter 😃

So please... keep giving me more of those...

And Sanders defends the comments he made praising Castro.... which is likely going to cost Sanders Florida as the southern half of the Florida Peninsula has a lot of Cuban refugees from that revolution.  ( https://www.politico.com/news/2020/02/24/bernie-sanders-cuban-revolution-117279 )

So yeah, the Democratic Convention is going to be a very, very amusing spectacle indeed.

https://morningstaronline.co.uk/article/w/cuba-found-to-be-the-most-sustainably-developed-country-in-the-world-new-research-finds

The socialist island outperforms advanced capitalist countries including Britain and the United States, which has subjected Cuba to a punitive six-decades-long economic blockade.

The SDI was created to update the Human Development Index (HDI), developed by Pakistani economist Mahbub ul Haq and used by the United Nations Development Programme to produce its annual reports since 1990.

Caught in a fight for survival between two nuclear powers. Imagine where Cuba would be today had they not been shit on for 60 years by the US.

https://www.latimes.com/opinion/readersreact/la-ol-le-cuba-us-embargo-trump-20170620-story.html

Cuba’s medical brigades were instrumental in controlling the Ebola epidemic in Africa, a feat acknowledged by the World Health Organization. Cuba has one of the highest physician-to-population ratios in the world, the longevity of its population is comparable to that of the United States, and the Cuban people receive free healthcare, education, housing and pensions — along with employment security.

Cuba has virtually no drug trafficking, homelessness, illiteracy or malnutrition. Its advances in biotechnology stand alone in Latin America as a symbol of what a small nation with very limited resources can do.

These accomplishments were achieved despite a punishing, 56-year embargo perpetrated by the world’s most powerful nation.

It's not like they were living under a brutal dictator that lined people up and shot them for having the temerity to disagree with him, then proceed to brainwash kids in schools or anything....

Oh wait...

this is actually relevant

The guy in the video is worse than Timhat. He hasn't a clue what he is saying and even in an isolation bottle every thing he says just makes him come off as a doofus.

The only thing relevant is the comparisons of good and evil.

Trump's one good action doesn't make Trump a good person.

Oh wait...

Trump hasn't done anything good.

Anyone carrying water for Cuba or any communist dictatorship doesn't deserve to be taken seriously. You've disqualified yourself from honest discussion.

Anyone that is also pro-Cuba has instantly pissed off the very large Cuban population in southern Florida.  They had a democracy, then Che Guevara and Fidel Castro happened.

I didn't see anyone in the primaries claiming to be pro-Cuban. What I did see was Sanders using Cuba as an example of how some parts of society can be served by social programs. Any intelligent Cuban could and would easily make that distinction. With Florida having 22 million and Cuban Floridians being 1.5 million. It is fair to say less than half of the 1.5 million could even vote. Considering Trump is a racist, anti-immigration, homophobe, a faith faker, and a liar, I don't see Trump get many of those 750,000 votes.

BTW Fidel Castro is dead. Also the person who will lead Cuba after 86 year old Raul is dead will likely be this guy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miguel_Díaz-Canel

Your old antiquated notion of what Cuba represents to the world is best left in the past.

And... If by some chance the US removed sanctions from Cuba, the country of Cuba would likely break ties with communist dictators like Putin.

Your programming must need adjusting since you forgot to add in transphobe, misogynist, bigot, Nazi, and pedophile.

No shit Sherlock.  I was making a statement about the history of Cuba, which means that the Communist regime they setup is still in effect, which basically destroyed the democracy that was there prior.  Until Cuba returns to being the democracy it once was, what those two monsters did is relevant because their machinations are still very much alive in the modern day... kinda like Marx.

At least be informed.

Instead of being a dumbass, embarrassing yourself about Cuban history.

Here is some basics to get you started.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuba

You asked for it....

This :

Quote

A new constitution was adopted in 1940, which engineered radical progressive ideas, including the right to labor and health care.

set the stage for this :

Quote

The United States Department of State has estimated that 3,200 people were executed from 1959 to 1962. According to Amnesty International, official death sentences from 1959–87 numbered 237 of which all but 21 were actually carried out. Other estimates for the total number of political executions range from 4,000 to 33,000

So what were you saying about not knowing the history?

They had a democracy

Cuba had several Democracies imposed upon them. None were for the Cuban people by the Cuban people. They were installed so the US could pillage Cuban resources and commodities. All of them failed and far more died as a result of those failures. When the last one failed to represent Cubans, Castro seized power and reclaimed all of Cuban soil from US land owners. All except Guantanamo Bay.

Revolution doesn't occur without deaths.

You saying Castro's Cuba is some kind of human travesty is a joke. Your paid taxes take more lives every year. Let that sink in.

None of these rhetorical brain farts from extreme conservatives will stick to Bernie Sanders.
