Either way, it's a senile geriatric one imminent stroke away from kicking the can. I can't quite tell who will be the better red pill, so I honestly don't care who wins.

I'm not a fan of her at all. That clip is more of her usual victim-shtick, always complaining that her getting called XYZ is the equivalent of a whole gender being oppressed, acting like nobody else ever gets insults or abuse thrown at them. It's never against her as an individual, no. It's always an attack on "little girls everywhere". And just girls, she couldn't give a fuck about abuse towards men (or "little boys", following her logic), because it's not part of the narrative. The oddly conflicting narrative that women are equal to men, but simultaneously oppressed and too weak to handle words compared to men.

I doubt she even saw the irony of throwing an insult his way in this little speech by saying he wasn't a decent man for not grovelling to her afterwards (she could have responded there and then to his face, but she strategically chose to make it a public display instead), and suggesting he doesn't care about his family. Snide jabs, perfect for pulling the self-righteous card without making it obvious she's playing the same game. She always gets into the wobbly-emotional-voice mode as another trick of hers, as well. She's definitely got the gift of political scheming for points, I'll give her that, but it really is all an act for her to appeal to the whole "powerful strong womynz" meme, similar to the one she did about the border.

This smells like a power grab by the most corrupt president in US history.  

Also Trump uses a postal vote, so if it good enough for him why not everyone else

A few quotes. Looks like the guy is a conservative since he worked in Reagan's administration. He has this to say.

He has since been replaced by the crudest and cruelest man ever to be president. But not just that. One senses in Donald Trump no joy, no delight, no laughter. All the emotions that drive him are negative. There is something repugnant about Trump, yes, but there is also something quite sad about the man. He is a damaged soul.

 

Trump wants walls. Trump closes doors. Even surrounds himself with walls and locked doors and wonders why no one will listen to him. At least not anyone with a few brain cells. I think we are now seeing the beginnings of Republicans coming to their senses. As the election draws closer, each week there are cracks in Trump's wall. Conservative politicians don't want to be buried and left for dead. Its got to be hard for these politicians to follow Trump when 150,000 Americans are dead from a virus Trump tries to make go away with his mental powers. All the while ignoring common sense.

I think I've said this before, but I do feel some sympathy for Republicans (not so much the politicians, but the supporters). They voted in Trump believing he was different to actual politicians and got someone even more incompetent, inept, and corrupt. The initial Liberal tears may have been fun, but the trade off to not get ANY campaign pledges fulfilled and instead get an egomaniacal idiot pushing nepotism took its toll. Republicans that realise Trump isn't really a Republican have to save face by pretending to be on his side, but would rather an actual representative they could be proud of.

The sad thing is there probably isn't an actual Republican politician who they do deserve. Someone who stood up against Trump a few times because they knew what he was. Maybe Mitt Romney? I can't remember, but I've got a vague memory that he's not bowed down to Trump as much as the others.

Yeah. Mitt Romney in the only member of a party to vote against their party's President in an impeachment trial. Very decent person. Of course, reviled by Trumpistas, and also 8 years ago reviled by Democrats.

The world would be a much better place if he was wrapping up his second term right about now. 😟

Yes they can and I would not be surprised if at their convention there is a challenge to Trump's nomination. It is a small chance but still a chance. At this point it would be a good Republican move to choose another because it is looking like Trump is going to lose big and that affects their party in all their other political races for 2020.

It always comes back down to Trump's ego and his complete disconnect from reality. He can't fathom why he's unlikeable. If Fauci is approved of, and Trump was the one gracious enough to hire him, then why isn't he also getting some of that approval rubbing off on him? He deserves it just through association, in his mind. What could it possibly be about an idiot with misplaced arrogance that makes him so unlikeable? He just can't put his finger on it. It's probably just haters, or Obama, or the media, or China, or Democrats, or whatever scapegoat he surrounds his self-esteem with for protection, anything to avoid having to accept he's got absolutely no charisma, no intelligence, no humility, and is about as trustworthy as you'd expect from a failed businessmen/land-owner that's sailed through life on nepotism, i.e. not at all (and you can see why he has no problem putting family in positions of power).

Fuck sake, even I'm rooting for a Democrat win now. At least Biden just sniffs people.

The Postal Service just informed states that the cost to mail ballots to voters who request them for vote-by-mail is now the first-class rate of 55 cents, rather than the bulk rate of 20 cents that they had been charging for them.

States are struggling with revenue shortfalls from the COVID-19 pandemic, and their requests for federal aid to deal with it have been refused so far.  This just about triples the cost of providing mail-in ballots at a time of increased demand for it.
